• Think “integrity” when you think of Courtney James. Courtney has a strong work ethic that is driven by her desire to educate her clients. Buying or selling a house is one of the biggest decisions people make, and she knows that an educated client is a happy client. Her sincerity, enthusiasm and professionalism, combined with her superior organizational skills, make her the ultimate client advocate.
• Courtney is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she majored in Neuropsychology and Women’s Studies. She spent several years working in healthcare management, moving very quickly up the professional ranks. “I loved working in healthcare management but I always wanted to be in real estate and now I’m so happy I’m in it”, says Courtney. She inherited a wonderful passion for real estate from her mother who worked in the business for many years. She and her family are happy to call the Triangle “home”. Courtney is supported daily by her wonderful husband, Luke, and daughters, Madeleine and Lillian, as well as her two dogs, Tucker and Nesta. Additionally, her three siblings and their families have joined them in the area. Family is something that has always been very important to Courtney.
• In her life away from work she enjoys running – especially long distances. She has completed 9 marathons and a triathlon. She also enjoys reading, spending time outside, restoring her 1924 home, and, of course, being with her family and friends. She is a Board Member of the Forest Hills Neighborhood Association and enjoys being active in community events.
